David haircut

I gave David a haircut last night. It was like trying to cut a moving target. He wasn't too happy about it, but he was a good boy and we got the job done.

We had to bribe him with McDonalds afterwards.

Hi Auntie Sherri,
We got the heat pad at a farmers supply, but I think you might be able to find them at a pet store too. Our pet stores out here didnt have them because we usually dont get that cold and if it does, it doesn't last very long. We have been seeing 60's and 70's for a couple of weeks now. The cold snap we had only lasted for maybe a week or 10 days.
The heat pad we got is called a "Heated Pet Mat" its designed to use out doors. The brand name is: Farm Innovators. You can also go online and find them.

Haircut

Finally got me a haircut today. Its been almost a year since I had my last real haircut. I have been hacking at the front and sides myself.

But the back of my hair was starting to look so bad and ratty that I couldn't stand it anymore, so today it all got whacked off.

Looks much better and it feels and looks like healthy hair.

New Phones

We went to Alltell today to get new phones and while we were waiting Grandpa and David played crash derby with the hot wheels cars. I could not resist taking this picture of both of them on the floor.

Las Vegas

A shopping day in Las Vegas

We had a fun day shopping in Las Vegas on saturday. We went to a buffet for lunch and had way too much food to eat. Good thing we went shopping afterwards to walk some of that food off. Gram held up well all day. We got a wheelchair for her at the mall so it wouldn't be too much walking.

Sushi?

Tammy and I were going for Sushi tonight, we were really looking forward to it, especially since the last time I had sushi was when I was in Nashville with Jill, last August.
Well when we got to the place, wouldn't you know the person that does the Sushi was not there tonight! At first we were bummed but then they also have Thai food there. So since we like Thai food and it had been a long time since I had Thai food, we settled for Thai dinner and mmmm....... was it ever good.
So all wasn't lost, we still had a good dinner.
Unfortunately we will just have to go back when the Sushi person is there, oh darn it!

Day at the park

Tammy and David having a ball. We looked around the playground to see how many adults were playing on the equipment and Tammy was the only one.

Day at the park

Yesterday was another beautiful day, so I went to KFC and picked up a bucket of chicken and we had lunch in the park.

Tammy and David played and had a lot of fun. David took a 3 hour nap when we got home and poor Tammy had to go back to work.

I dont think she realized how much energy a 3 year old has.

Planting flowers

I finally got my planter boxes cleaned up and planted some flowers.
The ground was frozen for a long time and the nice weather thawed it out enough so that I could pull out all the dead stuff and dig a hole for some new plants.

The poor tree looks like its dying but it looks like that every winter and then in the spring and summer it gets all nice and green again.

After we play on the playground at the park, David and I go for a walk. Well...... I walk David runs.

Today was such a beautiful day, it went up to 70 degrees. David and I went to the park and played for a while.
