Michele's last day in Nashville
Michele joined in the hula hoop contest and almost won

We posed with the silver people, do you like our cute cowboy hats? You have to have a cowboy hat if you are going to celebrate country music in Nasville.
David didn't want one, we tried.

David had a ball slipping and sliding on this water toy. I dont know what to call it. But he loved it and it kept him cool on a hot day.
We had to drag him away from there kicking and screaming. He was really mad at us.

We're Here!
Ok everyone, sorry it has taken me so long to post anything but we have been a little busy, packing and driving.
But we finally made it and we are here now in Nashville. Our treck here was pretty smooth, just a flat tire on the towcar and a couple of full campgrounds. Other than that, things went pretty smooth.
So this is a very long post, I hope you have time to read it and look at the pictures.
It was great to have Michele and David with us and it made the driving a little easier for for me. The days weren't quite as long as if I had to drive the truck by myself. So my thanks to John for letting his wife go for such a long time.
She is flying back home on Sunday, I'm sure going to miss them.
I will try to be better in keeping my blog updated. So dont forget to check it once in a while to see what we have been up to.
I love to get your comments which you can do by clicking on where it says comments.

Our first Concert
Standing in line to go to the Conert. Rich was able to get us free tickets to the CMA Music Festival here in Nashville. All kinds of big country singers perform here for 4 days.
We were up pretty high but there were monitors all over the place.
This is the view of the stage from where we were sitting.
Hey, what do you want for free tickets!! It was great! we really enjoyed it.
We saw: Jason Michael Carrol, Trace Atkins, The Wreckers, Derks Bentley, Brooks and Dunn, Alan Jackson and Reba McEntire.
Breakfast Visitor
Final Destination
David loves to throw rocks in the water.
Michele and I were sitting outside in the evening and watching this beautiful sunset. This was our first night here in Nashville. We also tried to take a picture of the fireflies but that was pretty difficult to do, they were just too quick for our camera.
While in Amarillo, Michele and I drove to Dumas and visited some old friends that I havent seen in 35 years! It was good to see them and again and to visit for a while. Suzie cooked us an absolutely wonderful dinner.

And when we were in Oklahoma City, Michele and I visited at the Memorial. It is such a sad place.
Michele and David by the Survivor Tree. Its the only tree that suvived after the bomb.
